Teaching Assistant

Dates:             Apply by 23/08/2019, Job starts September 2019

Salary:            £12,000

Location:        Welwyn, Hertfordshire

Contract type: Full Time, Permanent

Our Prep School currently has a vacancy for a motivated, inspirational and kind Teaching Assistant to work in Year 6.  The successful candidate must have a good level of literacy and numeracy and demonstrate an enthusiasm for working with students of this age group to support and extend as necessary to help them make the most of their education.  Some of our students have some additional educational needs, including dyslexia and ASD so experience of these areas would be an advantage. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and the ability to establish good rapport with students and colleagues. The successful candidate will be trained and supported by a dedicated and experienced team.

After School Care Supervisor, Hertfordshire

Contract type:           Part-Time, 3pm till 6pm, daily, term time only

Location:                    Welwyn, Hertfordshire

Due to the growth of our Pre School and the increase in applications from 2 year olds, we are currently seeking to recruit a new member of the Nursery team to supervise after school care.

Afterschool care is provided to support our working parents and it is important that the children's environment is fun and happy.  Working alongside a member of our teaching team, you would be predominantly responsible for looking after nursery aged children staying for after school care, and would be expected to work alongside the teacher to support all the children in the club.

Contract type:           Part-Time, 7am till 2.30pm, daily, term time only

Location:                    Welwyn, Hertfordshire

Due to the growth of our school and the increase in both student and staff numbers, we are currently recruiting for a new member of the catering team.  Preparing healthy and nutritious food for our community is an important part of our care and our team of cooks and kitchen support staff work hard to ensure that delicious food is provided daily to cater for a wide range of dietery needs.  

Whilst experience of working in a busy kitchen environment would be beneficial, it is not essential and full training will be given.  Personal qualities such as enthusiasm, reliability, a keen sense of hygiene and a willingness to work as a part of a team will be very important.
