Critical Response Information

Arrangements for early closure of school during the school day:-

Families who have access to the Parentmail system, will receive a text message.  For those of you who do not subscribe to Parentmail, office staff will make every effort to contact you by telephone, using relevant contact numbers you have made available to us, to inform you that school is closing early and to ask if pupils could be collected as quickly as possible.

Should parents be delayed, we will keep children at school until they can be collected.  Children will not be released to anyone, other than parents, unless we have formal permission to do so.

Arrangements when a decision is made to close the school outside school hours:-

A message will be placed on the home page of our website and on our telephone answerphone, and for those of you with access to Parentmail, a text message will be sent, should the decision be made to close the school.

If possible we will alert 97.6 Heart FM’s School Closure Service and also, if possible, Jack FM and BBC 3 Counties Radio.
