GCSE

The year  proved to be another successful year for Sherrardswood school with 94% pass rate A*- C.

Staff at the school commented, “This year’s results were particularly rewarding especially as it has proved more difficult nationally to obtain top grades in GCSEs.” This is a testament to the hard work of the students.

Hannah Murray was delighted with her results, having gained A* or A in her 10 chosen subjects. Lavan Ganeshkumar achieved 5 A*, 3 A and 3 B while Jasmine Goold obtained 3 A*,  6 A and 1 B.

Students all achieved A* to C in Maths, Science, Languages, History and ICT while Art students all gained A.

Sherrardswood School’s Headteacher, Lynda Corry praised staff and pupils for their hard work and dedication.

100% Pass Rate for 2014!

2014 highlights a set of outstanding A2 results with a 100% pass rate and all students were delighted to discover they had been accepted at their university of choice.

David Maughan celebrated 3 A* grades across the board and is delighted to be heading to the University of Nottingham to read Physics.  Many of our other students will be reading a range of interesting degrees, for example, Accountancy, Broadcast Journalism, Art, Photography, Travel and Tourism, Special Effects, Nursing and Geography.

An ecstatic Headteacher, Lynda Corry said “These results are a real testament to the commitment and hard work of young people and our teachers.  We are so proud of all our A Level students and wish them well for their future studies.”
