Scholarships

Gifted and Talented Scholarships

At Sherrardswood School, we are proud to nurture excellence in every student. Our Gifted and Talented Scholarship Programme recognises those who show exceptional academic ability or outstanding talent in extra-curricular areas — and provides the challenge, support, and inspiration to help them reach their full potential.

We are delighted to offer a limited number of Academic and Extra-Curricular Scholarships for students entering Year 7 in September 2026.

Scholarship Categories

  • Academic – for students who demonstrate exceptional ability or potential across core subjects.

  • Extra-Curricular – for students who excel in areas such as leadership, creativity, performance, or sport.

Joining Sherrardswood as a scholar opens the door to an outstanding education and the chance to play an active, positive role in our vibrant school community.

Assessment and Selection

Scholarships are awarded on merit to the most outstanding candidates.

Academic applicants will sit two assessment papers — in English and Mathematics  — and attend an interview with the Headmistress.
Extra-Curricular applicants will take part in an activity-based assessment and an interview with the Headmistress.

  • Scholarship Assessments: Tuesday 3rd February 2026
