At Sherrardswood School, we take great pride in the excellent academic and pastoral foundation we provide for every student. Our Gifted and Talented Scholarship Programme recognises those with exceptional ability, creativity, or potential — and offers the support, challenge, and enrichment to help them flourish.

Scholarships are awarded to students entering Year 7 and Sixth Form in September 2026 who demonstrate a high level of ability or promise in academic or extra-curricular areas. This may include strengths in areas such as leadership, performance, creativity, or sport.

Our scholars benefit from:

  • Targeted mentoring and tailored support in their area of talent
  • Opportunities for enrichment, extension, and leadership
  • Access to specialist staff and exclusive scholar events
  • Recognition within the school community for their contribution and achievements

Scholarships are awarded on merit to the most outstanding candidates following our Scholarship Assessment Day, which will take place on the above dates. 

We expect our Scholars to contribute positively to school life, act as role models for their peers, and engage wholeheartedly in the opportunities offered to them.
