Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team of dynamic educators in our Prep School. As our Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of all our students.

About the Role and You
Contract type: Full-time, Term Time
Working pattern: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Based on experience
Start date: January 2026
This role involves providing one-to-one support or small group support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will also be responsible for preparing and organising additional educational materials and resources and encouraging students to actively participate in the class and engage in activities.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
- GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Further qualifications relating to SEN and/or child protection (desirable)
- The ability to implement a range of strategies to support learning and enjoyment of learning
- A positive, patient and encouraging approach
- The ability to inspire confidence and act as a positive role model for younger pupils
- A strong commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing
