Learning Support Assistant

Make a difference in education! We are looking for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our Prep School team and empower students on their learning journey. 

About the Role and You 

As part of your role, your main responsibilities will include: 

Supporting Students 

  • Inspiring students to take ownership of their learning. 

  • Providing feedback to students to help them achieve their full potential. 

  • Tailor resources for the individual needs of the students. 

  • Foster self-esteem and confidence.  

Supporting Teachers 

  • Contributing to classroom administration. 

  • Proactively identifying the teacher's support needs. 

  • Providing regular feedback to the class teacher. 

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • A teaching assistant qualification or the equivalent gained through experience. 

  • Further qualifications with regard to SEN (desirable). 

  • Exceptional teamworking skills.  

  • Knowledge of various special educational needs. 

  • Flexibility and a friendly, approachable manner.
