Aims, Ethos, and Individuality

We are a small, co-educational family school, and a place where each child is valued as an individual. Small class sizes and a high staff ratio means that we take the time to get to know our students as well as their strengths, interests and abilities. Students and staff share respectful relationships and the atmosphere is one of warmth and positivity. Rewards and sanctions are clearly and fairly applied and our children are very happy with school life.

Our academic provision is personalised, providing support as appropriate. We are an academically non-selective school, yet our results regularly surpass other, more selective schools within the area, and we are extremely proud of our students’ achievements.

The growth of our children as individuals, ready to take their place within society is equally important to us.  We aim to foster a sense of responsibility, pride and honour in all of our students, and they mature into confident and happy young adults - as evidenced by the many and varied talents they demonstrate throughout the school day and in their personal endeavours.
